FIELD: tourist equipment. SUBSTANCE: knapsack has textile sack 1 fastened to frame consisting of longitudinal wall 2 interconnected by cross rod 3 and supporting bows 4. Before folding and placing in kayak, parts of cross rod 3 and supporting bows 4 are disconnected, then longitudinal posts 2 with pivoted parts of rods and bows are brought together and wrapped in cloth of sack 1. In result, knapsack becomes more compact and can be easily accommodated in kayak of small cross-section dimensions. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 12 dwg
