RUCKSACK-TENT Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: tourists equipment. SUBSTANCE: rucksack-tent has sack, which may be converted into tent, carcass, carrier straps and flap. Carcass is formed by two plates of like shape made from spongy water-repellent material. The plates are secured to sack rear panel. Carcass is provided with shock-absorbing unit. Sack has two parts inserted one within the other and interconnected in their upper parts by continuous seam. Sack has member providing retaining of plates in predetermined position one with respect to the other. One ends of straps are connected to lower part of sack so that their length may be adjusted and other ends of straps are connected to shock-absorbing unit of carcass. Flap is made in the form of bag and may be used as pillow. Entrance opening is made in tent upper part and provided with member for closing entrance opening. Closing member is fixed to tent roof ridge and slope ends. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, increased convenience and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 7 dwg
