CODE LOCK Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: code lock has housing wherein axially alined rotatable code disks are mounted. Each of the disks is made up as a bushing, the inner side of which is provided with a groove, and outer ring which encloses the bushing. The bushing and ring can rotate with respect to each other and can be locked in a desirable position. On the outer surface of the bushing is code hollows. The rings are provided with openings wherein inserts is mounted for permitting movement along the axis of the opening. The code lock is provided with a locking member made up as a pin lock which can be in a contact with inserts positioned at the same distance from the axis of rotation of the disks.
