FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: lock has body and latch located in body and having recesses in its side surface. Also located in body are interlocking spring-biased detentes which interact with recesses of latch. Latch is provided with handle for opening and closing of lock. Handle is longitudinally movable for interaction with latch. Also provided is means for decoding which operates with detentes. This means is made in the form of U-shaped strip having protrusions on side surface. There are end-face handle as well as code control mechanisms. Each of these mechanisms incorporates turnable bush, coding rod, eccentric bush, and stopping bush. All these components are located on common axis and are interconnected. Aforesaid embodiment of lock is of higher reliability and convenient in operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 9 dwg
