FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion V-type air-cooled engines with oil cooler. SUBSTANCE: V-type air-cooled engine has oil cooler and fan adjoining end face of cylinder bank. Axle fan impeller is parallel to cylinder banks. Impeller is enclosed in cylindrical housing. Engine has also casing which connects fan housing with cylinders and channel to deliver air from fan to oil cooler. Channel is made as air duct formed by concave in front portion of engine crankcase and air dust casing facing the cooler and arranged in plane perpendicular to fan axle. Mounted at border of cooler and cylinder with clearance is L-shaped separating wall made with radius of curvature at fan side equal to radius of curvature of fan housing. Use of channel and separating wall makes it possible to eliminate dead zones near cooled members in space under engine hood and provide uniform distribution of cooling air flows between engine cylinders and heads, i.e. to enhance efficiency of cooling and increase hydraulic efficiency of fan by taking air for cooling oil cooler from lower portion of fan delivery space opposite to engine crankcase. EFFECT: enhanced cooling. 3 dwg
