FIELD: manufacture of pumps; water handling pumps in particular. SUBSTANCE: rotary hydraulic pump consists of rotor with swivel blades mounted on its generatrix; turning of swivel blades around axis is limited by stops. Circular working chamber is formed inside rotor where torous pistons are arranged; these pistons are used as locking device and working member due to coupling in turn with movable generatrix of rotor and with fixed axle. Each piston is provided with spring-loaded rod. End of rod sunken in locking slot couples piston with fixed axle. Other end of rod is provided with end-piece loaded with spring. End-piece sunken in locking slot couples piston with generatrix of rotor. Rod is mounted in slide block fitted in its turn for motion over bevelled slot and damped by springs.
