FIELD: crushing of waste of blast-furnace iron making, for example, slag-iron scraps. SUBSTANCE: charge with a diameter of shaped cavity within 150 to 350 mm, explosive density of 1550 to 1750 kg/cu.m and velocity of detonation within 6000 to 8300 m/s, explosive charge mass within 6 to 30 kg is installed at a distance of 150 to 1500 mm from the scrap surface. The charge is installed in such a manner that an angle of 60 to 90 deg is formed between the charge axis and scrap surface, and an angle of 2 to 60 deg is formed between the cumulative jet and section with strength lower than that of the main material. The charge is blasted. Crushing can be accomplished by group blasting of several charges. Charges are installed with forming of an angle of 60 to 180 deg between the axes of adjacent charges. The time difference of blasting does not exceed 2 to 12 ms. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 4 dwg
