FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: sump has body 1 formed by side walls and bottom with cavity to collet cleaned oil. Placed sump are vertical filtering partition 4 and intake arrangement 3. Filtering partition 4 divides sump into two spaces: cleaned and noncleaned oil spaces. Placed between engine crankcase and oil sump is guide shield 5 inclined to side of noncleaned oil space. Oil draining from friction pairs gets onto guide shield 5, flows along shield into noncleaned oil space, passes through filtering partition 4, gets cleaned passing through partition, and enters cleaned oil space wherefrom oil is delivered into engine lubrication system by intake arrangement 3.
