DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF GAS AND HOLDING OF CATALYST IN CATALYTIC LAYERS OF RADIAL AND AXIAL-RADIAL REACTORS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2067494 C1

FIELD: catalytic technology. SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the system of manufacture of walls of minimum size for optimal distribution of gas and holding of catalyst in catalytic layers of radial and axial-radial reactors. The system includes single member with sections permeable for gas and ensuring the required pressure drop, and sections acting as mechanical supports for catalyst and impermeable for gas, member containing catalyst permeable for gas and being in direct contact with its end with sections of member acting as mechanical supports. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
