DULL CERAMIC OVERGLAZED PAINT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: paint technology. SUBSTANCE: paint has the following components, wt. -%: lead oxide (Pb₃O₄) 7.3-8.9; silicon oxide (SiO₂) 10.90-14.30; boron oxide (B₂O₃) 1.9-3.3; sodium oxide (Na₂O,) 0.9-1.5; zinc oxide (ZnO) 1.1-1.7; aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) 0.8-2.2; calcium oxide (CaO) 0.3-0.5; titanium oxide (TiO₂) 0.3-0.5; magnesium oxide (MgO) 12.5-15.5; tin oxide (SnO₂,) 51.2-54.0, and cobalt oxide (CaO) 5.0-5.4. Paint properties: color - light blue, stable and high coloristic parameters, high saturation and color clarity at blue spectrum range. Paint has no mirror component at reflected light from its surface. Paint is used for overglazed decoring porcelain, faience and other ceramic articles. EFFECT: enhanced quality of paint. 3 tbl
