COMPOSITION FOR BINDING ISOPRENE RUBBER-BASED RUBBER MIXES TO BRASS DURINO VULCANIZATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: sulfur and thiuramdisulfide are dissolved in ethyl acetate adn aminopropyl thiethoxysilane, dodecyl chloride and dicumyl are dissolved in gasoline. The resulting solutions are poured out. The binding composition comprises per 100 wt parts of the total amount of solvents; (wt parts) 0.25- 1.0 sulfur; 0.15-1.0 thiuramsulfide; 5-10 aminopropyl triethoxysilane;; 5-10 dodecyl chloride; 0.5-1.0 dicumyl perocide; 10-90 gasoline; 10-90 ethyl acetate. The prepared compisition is applied to sulface of brass plated metal cord, the metal cord is then rubberized with rubber mix. The characteristics of the composition: initial adhesion 25.8-29 kg; adhesion at 100 C 24.0-28.5 kg; adhesion after boiling in 5% 24.5-28.2 kg; adhesion after air ageing at 120 C for 12 hr 24.7-28.4 kg; adhesion after vapor-air againg ageing at 90 C for 96 hr 24.6-28.8 kg. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition.
