FIELD: fractionation of fuel oil in vacuum packed column. SUBSTANCE: fuel oil is fractionated in vacuum column equipped with contact devices with withdrawal of distillate and distillation residue. Column stripping section has cross-pointed contact devices which contain vertically arranged packing unit, liquid distributors in form of perforated distributing plates with deflecting plates and overflow strips. Prevented during stripping in column stripping section is mixing of heavy bottom product coming together with feed, with liquid flow flowing off the lower contact device of rectifying section; for which purpose, heavy product and liquid from rectifying section are directed in separated parallel flows to cross-pointed contact devices of stripping section. Separate motion of flows is ensured due to separation of the devices into two parts by vertical partition impermeable for liquid, and evaporating agent is used one and the same. As a result, additional stripped flow is withdrawn from the column bottom in form of high boiling distillate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg, 3 tbl
