FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in a method of separating hydrocarbon mixture including feeding raw material into rectification column, withdrawal of distillate components and residue, contact of vapor streams with liquid on horizontally arranged contact appliances, overflow of liquid from one appliance onto another, multiple crosscurrent vapor-liquid contact on vertically arranged contact appliances, distinguishing features are the following. Multiple vapor-liquid contact on vertically arranged contact appliances takes place in locations where liquid from overlying contact appliances overflows onto underlying contact appliances containing crosscurrent attachment units having distributors of liquid to units and vapor-impermeable plates completely closing horizontal cross-section of apparatus in turn from one or other side of vertically arranged attachment units. It is advantageously to perform multiple vapor-liquid contact on several vertical units separated from each other with two vapor-impermeable plates arranged at an angle to each other in vertical plane. EFFECT: increased output of desired components and improved their quality. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
