FIELD: lock production. SUBSTANCE: lock has box-type casing and a lid, movable cross bar placed in the casing. The cross bar is provided with stop and cross bar control mechanism made in the form of plates with shaped slots to interact with cross bar stop and with bits of two-bit key. Cylindrical mechanism to control the cross bar is installed in the common casing. Cylindrical mechanism is made in the form of movable sleeve and immovable sleeve coming in contact with their butts. The sleeves are coaxial and installed in the casing along the axis of key. Spring-loaded pins are placed in pairs in the sleeves. The pins of immovable sleeve are of the same length, and pins of movable sleeve are of different lengths. Butt ledges of the key come in contact with the pins in locking the lock.
