CYLINDER-TYPE TEDDER RAKE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2067807 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, hay-harvesting machine. SUBSTANCE: tedder rake has sections with working tools. Sections are interconnected through horizontal pivot joint extending along rake axis. Rotor drive of each section is formed as V-belt drive. Drive pulleys of both drives are mounted on common shaft, whose axis of rotation is extending through pivot joint center. Pulleys are positioned in symmetry with respect to transverse axis of rake. Rotary motion is transmitted from tractor power shaft through chain and transmissions. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
