FIELD: agriculture, sheep breeding. SUBSTANCE: method involves the sequential administration of progesterone and estradiol mixture (doses - 0.333 and 0.500 mcg/kg living mass, respectively) to ewes beginning from 18 day after insemination; then after 36-48 h a mixture of testostrone-propionate and estradiol is administrated at doses 0.450 mg/kg and 7.0 mcg/kg living mass, respectively. Beginning of the following day gestation and sterile ewes showing sexual hunting were detected. Diagnosis precision is increased from 83.5 to 100%.
