FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a method for increasing intensity of growth and preservation of newborn lambs. Method is characterized by that in the main diet of the ewes, one month before lambing and a month after lambing, one introduces Maral root extract in amount of 2.5 mg/kg of body weight a day and purple coneflower extract in amount of 8.6 mg/kg of body weight per day, wherein the extracts are part of the salt briquette.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase economic-useful qualities of ewes.
