FIELD: concentration of gold-containing placers and can be used at gold extraction from gravity concentrates. SUBSTANCE: the method comprises two stages of magnetic separation for ore concentration in a weak and strong magnetic fields, with magnetic induction of the first stage ranging from 0.15 to 0.5 T, and that of the second stage - from 1.6 to 2.5 T. The non-magnetic fraction of the second stage of magnetic separation is subjected to separation in magnetic fluid with quasiloading of it in magnetic field from 6.0 to 17.0 g/cu.cm. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 tbl
