SUBSTANCE: circular saw has a body and a gear ring, each tooth of the gear ring has a cutting and trimming edges, the latter lie in planes perpendicular to the axis of saw rotation, and the back of the tooth forms acute angles with its sides; according to the invention, the trimming edges are formed by intersection of the tooth sides and back; the tooth back has a constant width equal to the width of the cutting edge. EFFECT: enhanced quality of working, simplified design of the saw and technology of its trimming, reduced consumption of tool material, constant width of cutting during the whole service life. 4 dwg
