FIELD: transportation of materials. SUBSTANCE: hose-type belt transportation installation has endless flat and chute-shaped belt installed for movement along large number of support and guide rollers placed along drift and secured on frame-shaped roller supports. On transportation section, belt acquires shape of hose closed in cross section and formed by overlapping of longitudinal edges at passing between support and guide rollers, one of which is installed in zone of overlapping of hose longitudinal edges and the other, in opposite zone, the rest of rollers being arranged at angle to forming rollers and at acute angle to horizontal axis of hose cross section. Support and guide rollers are installed on straight-line portion of transportation section to form oval cross section of hose whose larger axis is located mainly horizontally. Support and guide rollers are installed to provide displacement for changing the length of larger and smaller axes of oval cross section of hose.
