FIELD: mining industry; applicable in underground mining of gently dipping and inclined coal seams 2-5 m thick. SUBSTANCE: powered mining complex has narrow-cut continuous miner whose working members designed for formation of flat inclined face. In this case, upper working member has width shorter than that of the lower working member. Complex includes also mobile flight conveyer and powered support units of guard type with hingeless extensible roofings. Roofings are yieldable under the effect of loads exceeding the permissible ones, and their front ends rests on face plane with excluded contact with upper working member of continuous miner. EFFECT: increased stability of bed face part and reduced load on support due to resting of roofing on the mass of face part of worked seam. 1 dwg
