METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF LEVEL OF LIQUID AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: electrodes connected to three-phase power supply source are dipped into tested medium and value of current flowing through electrodes is found. Resistance of first electrode is changed K times as compared with resistances of second and third electrodes which are fabricated identical. In agreement with first version value of change of resistance Rf, of first electrode with which summary current flowing through electrodes when they are connected to three-phase power supply source by star-to-star circuit with zero wire is equal to zero is determined. In compliance with second version value of change of resistance Rf is found with which difference of potentials between zero points of three-phase power supply source and "star" of electrodes when they are connected by star-to-star circuit without zero wire. Level of liquid lx is found by formula lx, where 1 is length of electrodes; S is area of cross-section of electrodes; ρ is specific resistance of electrodes. Device for implementation of method is described in formula of invention. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of method and reliability of device. 3 cl, 11 dwg
