DEVICE PROCESSING SIGNALS OF RESONANCE SHF MOISTURE METER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to SHF moisture testing in moisture meters where standard and working resonance signals are formed and appear in series. Relation between amplitudes of these signals characterizes moisture content in examined material. Device is inserted with diode 2, second commutator 4, memorizing capacitances 6 and 7 which form together with differential amplifier 1 and first commutator 3 peak detector with two outputs connected to inputs of analog-to-digital converter 8. Switching over of commutators is accomplished by rectangular pulses from output of generator 5 synchronized with standard and working signals. Information displayed in indicator 10 is described by formula X K (U1-U2)/U1, where K is gain factor of divider 9, U1 and U2 are amplitudes of standard and working pulses correspondingly.
