FIELD: railway transport; passenger car carrying rail cars. SUBSTANCE: car has body mounted on running gear 1. Body has side walls 3, end face walls, doors and roof 5 installed for vertical displacement. Stop members 7 coupled with roof are installed for travel under action of drive and for fixing in guides secured on side walls 3. Longitudinal stops with cutouts for guides are secured in middle portion of side walls for fixing the roof. Stop moving drive is cable-and-sheave system which has cable coupled with driven drums and reeved in sheaves some of which are rigidly secured on side walls and others are fastened on stops. Two-wing doors are installed in end face walls vertically, one over the other. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
