FIELD: hydroelectric power engineering; conversion of sea wave energy into electricity. SUBSTANCE: power plant has supporting tower with leg carrying screw-type energy converter and compensating telescopic drive mechanism joined together by means of fastening gear ring; screw-type energy converter is, essentially, propeller whose blades are placed at angle of attack of 45 deg; buoy attached at bottom side of propeller supports the latter in horizontal position above water surface. Propeller is joined to compensating telescopic drive mechanism through coupling and to generator, through step-up gear. Tower legs mount several screw-type converters whose energy is summed up by means of gears. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
