SUBSTANCE: lighting unit provides for an even illumination of the passenger lift cabin by luminescent lamps installed on the ceiling, always good visibility of the button control panel and indicating table with the aid spotlights. The spotlights are installed in the middle ceiling strip for hinging and retaining, and the luminescent lamps secured on the cabin ceiling along the ceiling strip are closed from the bottom with a non-transparent ceiling strip. Transparent facing elements located in the ceiling frame to the left and right of the strip are evenly illuminated from one side. Convenient access for replacement of the light source is provided due to the fact that the ceiling strip retainer is released by means of a simple tool, the ceiling strip is hinged down.
