FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to test coke for abrasion under thermochemical conditions simulating blast-furnace process. Gear is fitted with thermocouple 8 placed into thermal chamber 6 and connected to potentiometer 7 and device 16 to fix dynamics of coke abrasion. Gear includes controllable means to feed reaction gas. Instrument 13 registering character of abrasion of sample 5 is mounted for contact with sample 5 with the aid of pressing fixture 12. Powder formed with abrasion falls through hopper 14 into weighing device connected to recording device 16 which visually demonstrates picture of abrasion dynamic over entire section of lump of coke. EFFECT: proposed gear is sufficiently effective and makes it possible to evaluate reliably abrasion of lump coke under conditions close to those of blast-furnace process. 1 dwg
