FIELD: modelling of the process of laminar coking. SUBSTANCE: oven has coking chamber confined by end face heating walls 2. Coking chamber 1 is separated by vertical removable perforated partitions 4 from readily combustible material into sections 5. Each section accommodates hollow quartz measuring rod 7 accommodating thermocouple 9 whose lower end is fixed to rod 7 to form common end face, and upper end is connected with instrument 10 made in the form of temperature fluctuations recorder. Each rod 7 has end piece 11 with weight 12 for holding the rod on surface of coal monolayer and connected with it by means of counterweight 15 and connected with system of mechanical and electrical converters 13 and 4 of linear motion and transmission to recording instrument 10.
