FIELD: precision instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: acceleration gradient meter has two inertia bodies in the form of a permanent magnet, with a disk of high-temperature superconductor placed between them. For setting the inertia bodies in the zero position one more high-temperature superconductive disk is installed on the two external sides of the inertia bodies. Two permanent magnets are installed on the side of these disks, opposite the inertia bodies. The inertia bodies are installed in a flexible centering suspension. All high-temperature disks and the external permanent magnets are rigidly secured in the meter housing. Provision of two modes of motion of the inertia bodies makes it possible to discriminate the signals associated with the acceleration gradient from signal associated with constant acceleration. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy. 2 cl, 1 dwg
