FIELD: electronic engineering; instrumentation for connecting devices with contact pads arranged linearly and tightly, for example, for liquid-crystal screens. SUBSTANCE: linear contact unit has shaft carrying contact levers with washers inbetween; contact levers are joined with springs. Novelty is that flexible thread is inserted between levers and springs. Shaft surface, washers, and flexible threads are made of current-conducting material. Flexible threads and electric conductors are connected to contact levers in stepped sequence and in direction perpendicular to radii from center to point of connection of each flexible thread. Such direction is ensured due to cylindrical blocks around threads of each stepped line of connection. EFFECT: provision for tight arrangement of linear contacts. 2 dwg
