FIELD: materials handling facilities; conveyors for vertical and steeply inclined transportation of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: high-angle belt conveyor has carrying belt and pressure belt passed over drive, tension and two rows of deflecting drums secured on hinge-mounted inclined levers with leading- aroundmembers installed on conveyor frame. Leading-around members are coupled by flexible member with weight one end passing in turn over leading-around members of inclined levers of one row of deflecting drums and lead-around members of inclined levers of other row of deflecting drums. Leading-around members are installed on inclined levers for movement along the levers. Inclined levers of deflecting drums of one row are provided with arm lever members on upper ends which are hinge-coupled through tie-rod with inclined levers of adjacent deflecting drums of other row. Tie-rod is arranged square to arm lever member and adjacent inclined lever. Hinge joints coupling levers with tie-rod are arranged at equal distance from axis of inclined lever suspension hinge joint. Tie-rod is provided with double-acting vibration damper. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation owing to kinematic intercoupling of adjacent deflecting drums providing constant contour travelling of belts in vertical direction. 2 cl, 4 dwg
