FIELD: synchroreactive frequency changers operating at 50/200 Hz and 60/240 Hz. SUBSTANCE: laminated magnetic circuit of rotor is assembled of single-piece (and not sectionalized) stampings. Rotor stamping has central hole for shaft, one wide and two narrow pole lugs with common diameter of generating circumference. Pole lugs are separated by pole valleys. Rotor carries starting winding. Its magnetic circuit is of improved design. At base of wide pole lug, there are holes oriented crosswise of center line of this lug and also jumpers functioning as magnetic saturation bridges. Four cuts are made at corners of pole lugs to obtain secondary emf of waveform better approaching sinusoid. EFFECT: reduced consumption of magnet wire for secondary winding, improved rotor design, improved performance characteristics of frequency changer due to restriction of on-load output voltage drop, and improved overload capacity of frequency changer. 2 cl, 1 dwg
