SUBSTANCE: method consists in that along with measuring temperature and viscosity of glass mass, additionally, coefficient of glass mass heat transfer is determined, and variation in quantity of heat supplied into the furnace is accomplished in such a way that temperature, viscosity, and coefficient of heat transfer lay in the ranges specified by technical requirements.
