GAS DISTRIBUTING GRATE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: gas distributing grates of fluidized bed; boilers with fluidized bed furnaces. SUBSTANCE: gas distributing grate has caps with nozzles mounted on plate forming circulating loops and/or directed flow; caps are provided with twin nozzles and are located symmetrically at angle of 10 to 60 deg relative to plane of symmetry of cap, thus excluding wear of caps which are in front of them by flow of particles. Caps are arranged on grate at similar pitch in longitudinal and transverse directions; symmetrical stable transporting flows are created in passage ways between adjacent rows of caps. Turns of flow which form closed circulating loops are created due to mounting the caps in sectors of grate in parallel with its external boundary. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
