FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining amplitude characteristics of electroretinography (ERG) and central electrooculogram (EOG) values for both eyes. The scotopic and photopic ERG waves amplitude of operated eye being increased not more then 2.7 times as much and Arden coefficient being grown up to 235% and initial potential of the operated eye lowering less than 50% when compared with normal value, medicamentous treatment is considered to be indicated. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of method.
