AIRCRAFT NOSE UNDERCARRIAGE CONTROL SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: aviation; alighting gears; control of aircraft motion at take-off, landing and taxying over airfield. SUBSTANCE: control system has control wheels 1 with selectors 21 fitted on them, control sticks 6 fitted on starboard and port sides of cabin whose columns are kinematically interconnected and linked with centering cylinder 12, pedals 2 interconnected through linkage 3 and connected with input shafts of undercarriage small turn angle sensors 4, undercarriage large turn angle sensors 15; each output of them is connected with input of respective control unit 5. Each control unit 5 is connected with respective electrohydraulic control unit 22 which is connected with feed back sensor 25; outputs of these sensors are connected with respective control units 5. System is provided with mode selector switch 18 kinematically linked with column of one of control sticks, for example, column 8 of control stick 6 and fitted with magnetically-controlled switches connected with selector switch mounted on control wheel through two parallel circuits and mechanism for connecting sensors 15 kinematically linked with column 9 of control stick 7 and with additional centering cylinder 17.
