FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: airborne landing gear front support control unit is dual-mode and comprises two steering columns with manual control handles in steering mode and two independent control systems of pedestrian control stations in takeoff and landing mode. Command unit includes a control mode switch, command sensors, centring cylinders and a steering column mechanical communication system. One steering column is communicated with control mode selector. Each steering column comprises three bushings, upper and middle of which are introduced in movable engagement to form hinge of two-mode control. Upper bushing is equipped with annular boss with cantilever stop, and middle bushing is equipped with mating tide with open contour forming groove for cantilever thrust. Central bushing is connected by the system of command steering turns conversion of the steering column bushing into angular movements of the sensor shaft and equipped with a fork lever for connection with the centring cylinder of the sensor. Lower bushing of each steering column is equipped with a rigidly fixed rocker for attachment of the tie-rod end of the mechanical communication system of the steering columns.
