FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine starting devices. SUBSTANCE: device has sleeve made of ceramics accommodating spiral electric heater made of copper wire or tape. Sleeve can be made of cast iron in two layers between which electric heater in form of ceramic insulators with wound on copper wire is placed. Electric heater is switched on from vehicle cab. Sleeve of such design provides warming of frozen oil between walls of cylinder sleeve and piston. EFFECT: facilitated starting of engine from cold. 3 dwg
