FIELD: devices for examination of blood characteristics, in particular, its coagulation. SUBSTANCE: the device for measurement of coagulation time uses a time meter, output signal analyzer, temperature controlled casing, ampoule, electromagnet pole pieces (cores), ball of ferromagnetic material, first AC generator, second DC pulse generator, transmitting and receiving inductance coils and electromagnet windings; the time meter started at the first input has its second input connected to the output signal analyzer; the temperature controlled casing accommodates the ampoule with the preparation to be examined and the system of magnet pole pieces outside the ampoule accommodating the ball of ferromagnetic material; besides, positioned in the casing under the ampoule bottom are the transmitting and receiving inductance coils, whose first leads are connected to a common bus, and the second leads - to the first AC generator and output signal analyzer, respectively, and the electromagnet windings are connected to the respective outputs of the second current pulse generator. The transmitting coil inside diameter is not less than the ampoule outside diameter, their axes are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the axis of the receiving coil, whose length does not exceed the ampoule outside diameter; the receiving coil is formed by series connection of two opposing coils wound on a thin flat coil form with a gap between them in the middle part of the frame, whose plane lies in the lateral symmetry plane of the transmitting coil. Besides, at least three electromagnets are introduced; the casing is made of non-magnetic current- conducting material and has a through slit in one of the walls; the receiving coils are turned, with the gap between them facing the slit in the casing wall, and the ball is made of soft magnetic material.
