FIELD: agriculture; greenhouse crop production. SUBSTANCE: greenhouse has enclosure 1 and plant vegetation units 2. Plant vegetation units 2 are inclined cross-bars 3 arranged in pairs. Trays 5 for plants 6 are secured on the cross-bars. Optical radiation sources 7 are installed between plant vegetation units 2. Trays 5 are mounted on cross-bars 3 by means of telescopic brackets. The cross-bars have T-shaped recesses 13. Telescopic brackets 4 are mounted in T-shaped recesses 13 for travel along the length of cross-bar 3. The method involves planting and growing plants in trays 5. Telescopic brackets 4 are adjusted for position on cross-bars 3 so that the distance between trays 5 in the direction perpendicular with the greenhouse basement is 1.6-2.4R, where R is a mean radius of the mass of vegetation in the tray. Then telescopic brackets 4 are moved apart so that centers of the masses of vegetation are arranged parabolically. This arrangement helps improve uniformity of irradiation of the vegetation masses in depth and at different heights. EFFECT: higher crop yielding ability. 4 cl, 4 dwg
