FIELD: agriculture; livestock farming. SUBSTANCE: meter feeder is provided with an adjustable screw limit stop for a rest installed in the back wall of the feeder. Feed is delivered from the feeder hopper to its tray by a mechanism provided with a gate. The gate is mounted on a cross horizontal axle located below the hopper outlet port. The feeder is provided with a comb-shaped feed loosener attached to the top part of the gate. A return spring is attached to the back wall of the feeder and the gate. The pressure rest is rigidly joined with the gate, and a tip-up apron is mounted on the front wall on a horizontal axle. EFFECT: simpler design; convenience in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
