FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: method comprises wrapping up preliminarily shaped belt with corrugated portion in forming roller-type sleeve by two stages: at first stage bending along circle arc equal to 180 degrees with predetermined radius and simultaneously drawing flat portion of belt with formation of protective screen; at second stage additionally bending shaped belt and simultaneously applying protective screen of fed portion onto adjacent corrugation of shaped portion being made. Apparatus includes housing, forming sleeve with group of wrapping up rollers, pressure rollers and pulling discs. Apparatus is provided with additional group of wrapping up and pressure rollers. Supporting rollers have cone surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved design of apparatus. 2 cl, 6 dwg
