FIELD: metal forming. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has two supports, forming jig comprising detachable matrices, which embrace tubular bar, pairs of outer continuous matrices and power cylinder. Cylinder casing is coupled to first support and one of outer continuous matrices and its rod is connected to second support and other continuous matrix. Sealing units are located on supports. Apparatus is further provided with mechanism for returning jig to initial position from available power cylinder. First support with sealing unit is movable relative to power cylinder casing and is positioned on rod annular bead of additional piston mounted in working cavity of power cylinder casing and having diameter not exceeding diameter of power cylinder piston. Power cylinder rod is connected to second support and outer continuous matrix through quickly retractable stop mounted on said matrix and engageable with second support during formation of corrugations. Power cylinder may incorporate ready bellows, rod and two supports with sealing units, which are withdrawable from power cylinder to form empty zone for removal of ready product. Such construction reduces time required for withdrawal of ready product and subsequent returning of jig to the initial position.
