DISCONNECTING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device is used for disconnection of unseized part of drill string from seized tool and for washing- out of sludge plug. Disconnection of sleeve from nipple is effected by left- hand thread after axial displacement of torque transmission unit in the form of matched face surfaces of sleeve, nipple and movable bush. Sludge plug is washed out through radial passages of sleeve which in initial position are closed by cylindrical part of bush with sealing components. Application of disconnector cuts cost for liquidation of breakdown due to more reliable functioning of device and possible repeated use of all its units. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwg
