FIELD: equipment with optical disc carriers recording and playing back information. SUBSTANCE: device includes optical position transducer made of two optically coupled parts: photoelectric single-coordinate autocollimator and mirror reflector. It also has base to which optical position transducer is fastened, two correcting amplifiers and differentiation network. Optical axis of autocollimator is perpendicular to direction of radial translation of optical head. Reflector has surface with curvature different from zero and normals to this surface in each point of it are parallel to plane perpendicular to axis of surface of reflector. This axis is perpendicular to plane of measurement of autocollimator which output is connected through first correcting amplifier to output "position of optical head" and through differentiation network and second correcting amplifier - to output "speed of optical head" of device.
