FIELD: manufacture of incandescent lamps. SUBSTANCE: incandescent lamps are provided with additional stand-by filament circuits. Flexible contact in the form of strip of one of two circuit electrodes is brought out upper end of lamp base by piercing plastic insulating filler in lamp base. Contacts are bent up together and stacked through insulating embedded gaskets and pressed to contact cap of main electrode. Second electrode engaged through metal base is branched off through its taps into number of stand-by filament circuits. All or some of filament circuits are turned on by removing embedded insulating gaskets from under flexible contacts. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
