FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has rod with threaded portions, sharp point on one end and cylindric stem on the other end, bushing with outer thread mountable on the rod stem, fastening member placed on the rod and diaphyseal shield. Rod and bushing threads are of opposite rotation and have the same pitch. The fastening member is a nut with spring gasket for making attachment to the diaphyseal shield. The rod has axial canal for wire to pass through, thread on the stem portion for nut to screw on and square recess on the end face and an intermediate portion making transition from threaded portion to the stem. Stem diameter is equal to 0.5 diameter of the threaded portion of the rod and external diameter is equal to 1.3 diameters of the threaded portion of the rod. The bushing has holes for fork lock plugs and a flat to enable full engagement with transition rod portion. Transition portion generatrices and flats have the same curvature relative to the device axis. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in treating femoral neck fractures. 4 dwg
