FIELD: diamond and boron nitride crystal synthesis and growing. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has multiple punch unit and container. Multiple punch unit has outer surface shaped as regular polyhedron. Each punch of unit is formed as regular truncated pyramid. Base of pyramid defines one of outer sides of unit and upper surface defines one side of compressible volume. Container is composed of two halves, which define inner cavity for receiving multiple punch unit. Inner cavity is formed as reverse polyhedron conformable with outer surface of multiple punch unit, which is inserted into flexible sealing enclosure, whose edges are hermetically fixed at locations adjacent to halves attachment zone. Enclosure is placed within container. High-pressure liquid is supplied into cavity between flexible enclosure and container inner cavity surface. Force applied to outer surface of punch is transmitted to its truncated end surface having smaller area. As a result, high pressure is created in inner cavity. Container halves attachment plane is extending in parallel with outer surface of one punch or with plane, onto which minimum area of multiple punch unit profile projection is projected. As a result, force required for attachment of container halves has minimum value. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
