FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: subsequent to treatment with coagulant, waste water is treated with a flocculant which constitutes a wool hydrolysate prepared from wool production waste through dissolving the latter in 0.1 N alkali solution (1 g of wool per 100 ml of solution) at 90-100 C for 1.5-2 h followed by allowing to stand for 20-24 h and tenfold dilution. Flocculant concentration in waste water being treated is 1-3 mg/l, and pH with flocculant added 6.5-7. Purification degree is 93%. EFFECT: increased purification degree. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
