FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has detector which is designed as optical pair of photoresistor and gas-discharge two-electrode tube which has resistor which by-passes its electrodes. One electrode of detector is connected to housing of electric device through diode and clipping resistor; second electrode is connected to negative pole of rectifying bridge and emitter of transistor through resistor. Latter electrode is also connected to collector of transistor and one terminal of relay coil through diode. Another terminal of relay coil is connected to positive pole of same bridge; it is also connected to base-emitter junction of transistor through voltage scaling circuit. Photoresistor of optical pair is also connected to base-emitter junction of transistor. Supply line input and load output are connected by means of pair of closed contacts which are by-passed by resistors. EFFECT: increased reliability, decreased power usage, decreased size and weight, possibility to switch power supply on, when causes of circuit breaking are eliminated. 1 dwg
